Your comprehensive guide to installing, securing, and troubleshooting Ledger® Live on desktop and mobile.
The Ledger® Live App is the official platform that enables users to control, monitor, and secure their crypto assets using the Ledger® hardware wallet. Whether you use Ledger® Live Desktop or the mobile version, it provides access to your portfolio, staking services, firmware updates, and transaction signing in a secure environment.
You can download Ledger® Live Desktop for Windows, macOS, or Linux from the official Ledger® website. Once downloaded, install the application and launch it. Connect your Ledger® hardware wallet using a USB cable to begin setup or login.
The Ledger® Live App is also available on Android and iOS. It connects to Ledger® Nano X and Ledger® Stax via Bluetooth. Install it via Google Play or the App Store and follow on-screen prompts to pair with your device.
To access your Ledger® Live wallet, open the application and set a password for added privacy. Plug in your device and enter your PIN. The app will sync with your wallet, enabling access to accounts and balances.
If the Ledger login is not working or you are unable to login Ledger®, ensure that your device is unlocked, the correct app (like Bitcoin or Ethereum) is open, and your firmware and Ledger® Live App are up to date.
Ledger® doesn’t offer traditional account recovery like online wallets. Instead, your 24-word recovery phrase is the only way to restore your Ledger® wallet. If Ledger® 2FA reset or PIN reset is required, you’ll need to reset your device and restore it using the recovery phrase. Without this phrase, Ledger® cannot recover your account.
